What will your role look like

Defining end-to-end performance strategies for complex programs and building robust testing frameworks from the ground up.
Architecting SLA/SLO definitions, system sizing, and proactive capacity planning to ensure future-proof applications.
Leading high-intensity testing (Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance) and performing deep-dive root cause analysis across application, infrastructure, database, and network layers.
Building real-time performance dashboards and reporting suites using industry-leading APM tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, and Datadog.
Designing automated "Shift-Left" performance pipelines within CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to influence system design and mentoring a team of performance engineers to elevate their technical craft.

We would like you to bring along

5+ years of hands-on expertise in Performance Testing and Engineering.
Expert-level proficiency in JMeter (Mandatory); familiarity with LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or k6 is a plus.
Proven ability to tune JVMs, Web Servers (Tomcat, WebLogic), and Databases (Postgres, SQL Server), alongside analyzing GC logs and heap/thread dumps.
Strong coding skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, Java, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP, microservices architecture, and containerized testing using Docker and Kubernetes.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to articulate technical performance risks to both developers and product owners.

Good-to-have skills

Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices, Chaos Engineering, and Failover testing.
Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and cloud-native monitoring trends.
Exposure to mobile performance testing and previous experience in a Technical Lead or Architect capacity.
