What will your role look like
  • Act as an L3 Support Engineer for Mendix applications, handling production incidents, major escalations, and critical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Mendix components, including microflows, nanoflows, domain models, security configurations, and integrations.
  • Support Mendix Cloud and Private Cloud environments, including deployments and production releases.
  • Work closely with L1/L2 support teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Manage data fixes, database-related issues, and performance tuning activities.
  • Monitor application health using logs, debugging tools, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure SLA adherence and follow ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Maintain support documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support as required.

We would like you to bring along
  • Strong hands-on experience with Mendix application development and support.
  • Expertise in REST and SOAP integrations, with hands-on experience in JSON and XML.
  • Solid database knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL, including data analysis and fixes.
  • Proven experience in debugging, logging, and performance monitoring in production environments.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to analyze complex production issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in 24x7 or on-call support models.

Good-to-have skills
  • Mendix Certification (Intermediate or Advanced).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management tools.
