• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer in Java automation
• Strong experience in automation testing for web applications and APIs
• Hands-on experience with Playwright with Java automation
• Salesforce admin domain knowledge
• Mandatory knowledge of Playwright automation basics including web elements, object identification, and automation challenges
• Mandatory knowledge of Selenium automation basics including web elements, object identification, and automation challenges
• Experience with TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, and QTest
• Strong experience in REST API automation with hands-on exposure to JSON and XML
• Experience in Java automation best practices and POM framework
• Hands-on experience with code repositories such as GIT or Bitbucket
• Strong debugging skills with web applications and negative testing approaches
• Good analytical skills and ability to think of different ways to break the system
• Hands-on experience in SDLC documentation including BRD, FSD, test cases, release documents, and help documents
• Experience in Agile methodologies and QA processes including manual, integration, system, acceptance, regression, and unit testing
• Understanding and hands-on experience in backend testing, SQL commands, CSS, XPATH, and coding standards
• Experience with parallel testing and cross-browser automation tools such as Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, Selenoid, or LambdaTest
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing roles and collaboration with global teams
• Quick learner and self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Experience in implementing DevOps culture using automated tools
• Hands-on experience with Gen AI tools, preferably Copilot
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins job configuration and setup

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber with Gherkin syntax
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines beyond Jenkins including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts
• Exposure to mobile automation testing using Appium
• Understanding of security testing fundamentals and OWASP concepts
• Experience with test reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python for automation utilities
• Understanding of accessibility testing standards such as WCAG
