Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow SPM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Financial Planning, CSDM, CMDB, and Foundation Data.

In this strategic role, you will define the SPM architecture roadmap, establish governance and best practices, and collaborate with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable solutions that align with enterprise objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

What will your role look like?

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions.
• Drive end-to-end implementation of Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Financial Planning, Agile Development, and Portfolio Planning capabilities.
• Define and implement CSDM (Common Service Data Model) aligned architecture across the ServiceNow platform.
• Design and govern enterprise CMDB architecture, ensuring data quality, integrity, and alignment with business services.
• Define and manage Foundation Data strategy, governance, and data models to support enterprise portfolio management and reporting.
• Lead solution blueprint sessions, architecture workshops, and technical governance reviews with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate strategic business objectives into scalable ServiceNow SPM solutions and technical roadmaps.
• Establish architecture standards, reusable solution patterns, governance frameworks, and implementation best practices.
• Integrate SPM with other ServiceNow products including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, and external enterprise applications.
• Architect integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and enterprise integration platforms.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle, including design reviews, code governance, deployment, and platform optimization.
• Mentor architects, developers, and consultants on ServiceNow SPM best practices and architectural standards.
• Drive platform modernization, continuous improvement, and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities.
• Partner with business leaders to optimize portfolio planning, resource allocation, investment management, and project execution.

We would like you to bring along

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with extensive ServiceNow platform expertise.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow SPM Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect delivering enterprise-scale implementations.
• Deep hands-on expertise in:

• Strong experience implementing CSDM across enterprise ServiceNow environments.
• Expertise in CMDB architecture, governance, health, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Foundation Data, enterprise data models, and data governance.
• Experience designing enterprise architecture, technical roadmaps, and solution governance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, security, integrations, and development best practices.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and middleware platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience leading architecture discussions, mentoring technical teams, and driving solution ownership.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery environments.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• Experience integrating SPM with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and ITAM.
• Knowledge of Performance Analytics, enterprise reporting, dashboards, and executive scorecards.
• Experience with Now Assist, AI-powered portfolio management, and intelligent automation.
• Strong understanding of Agile Development, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, and enterprise planning frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• TOGAF, ITIL 4 Foundation, or enterprise architecture certifications.
• Experience driving enterprise data governance, platform modernization, and strategic technology initiatives.
