Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 7+ years of hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development and implementation across ITSM, Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Operations (SecOps), and Integrations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical capabilities in scripting, workflows, integrations, and platform customization, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and platform performance optimization.

What will your role look like

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, Vulnerability Response (VR), and Security Operations (SecOps) modules
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP APIs, Integration
• Hub, MID Server, and other integration technologies
• Create and enhance workflows, Flow Designer solutions, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, and catalog items
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design discussions, technical estimations, and implementation planning
• Troubleshoot platform issues, debug scripts, and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Support platform upgrades, patching activities, and instance maintenance
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team

We would like you to bring along

• 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• ServiceNow ITSM
• Vulnerability Response (VR)
• Security Operations (SecOps)
• Integrations
• Strong scripting knowledge including JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts
• Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party integrations
• Good understanding of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, workflows, and Flow Designer
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory; additional CIS certifications are preferred

Good-to-have skills

• Exposure to ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, or IRM modules
• Experience with ServiceNow App Engine and Workspace development
• Knowledge of security tools integration such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or CrowdStrike
• Experience with Automation, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Service Portal and UI Builder
• Experience in handling client demos, workshops, and technical documentation
• CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-VR, or CIS-SecOps certifications preferred
