The challenge
Chemonics’ growth engine spans multiple business lines and markets worldwide, with teams managing thousands of client relationships and leads across a long pre-proposal pipeline. Much of this activity lived in fragmented spreadsheets. Capturing contacts required manual entry, duplicate leads were difficult to detect, and leadership lacked visibility into pipeline, attribution, and forecasting.
The solution
Working with InfoBeans, Chemonics built Signal, a Claude-powered platform that replaces fragmented spreadsheets with a single system of record for the growth engine.
Signal standardizes how teams capture and act on relationships across four core entities: Contacts, Organizations, Meetings, and Leads. Users can paste meeting notes or emails, and Claude extracts relevant details into structured, validated CRM records. Users review and edit before submission, keeping humans in control of every record.
InfoBeans used Claude Code across the full delivery lifecycle, from rapid prototyping and front-end scaffolding to back-end build and post-production support, compressing April 2026 kickoff to production in roughly two months.
The results
Signal reached production in roughly two months, with Claude Code accelerating delivery velocity by approximately 3x. For growth teams, early outcomes include:
