InfoBeans earns EcoVadis Bronze Medal, rated among the top 35% of companies assessed

EcoVadis checked how we treat the environment, our people, our business ethics, and the suppliers we buy from. Here is what the rating says and what we are doing next.

InfoBeans Technologies Ltd has been rated by EcoVadis and has earned a Bronze Medal. The medal places InfoBeans among the top 35% of companies that EcoVadis assessed in the 12 months before it was issued. It applies to InfoBeans at the group level and is valid until September 2027.

What EcoVadis looked at

EcoVadis is a sustainability ratings provider that procurement teams around the world use to assess their suppliers. Its assessment covered four areas:

  • Environment
  • Labor and human rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable procurement

A policy on file earns little on its own. Assessors look for the evidence that it is followed: records, data, training logs and supplier checks. That is the part that took the most work, and it is the part that makes the rating worth something.

Why it matters to our clients

When an enterprise chooses an engineering partner, its procurement team now asks for proof of how that partner runs its own business. Many of them already use EcoVadis to collect that proof. For our clients, this rating answers part of the question in a format their teams already know, and they can view the full recognition here: https://recognition.ecovadis.com/tF2menefb0qKly8CLsOGBg.

In their words

“Our clients see sustainability on the supplier scorecard long before it reaches anyone’s annual report,” said Avinash Sethi, Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer, InfoBeans. “Their procurement teams want evidence, and so do our investors. So we submitted our documentations for an assessment, and earning the Bronze Medal confirms that our foundations are strong. The scorecard also gives us a clear roadmap to the next level. In finance, a roadmap comes with targets and owners, and this one already has both.”

“An assessment like this asks for proof, page by page: the policy, the record that shows it is followed, the data behind every number,” said Neha Chouhan, Director – Process Engineering & Compliance, InfoBeans. “It took people across governance, people, finance, audit and operations to put that evidence together, and most of them have never had sustainability in their job title. The medal is theirs. The improvement plan for our next assessment is already in motion.”

What comes next

Bronze is our first EcoVadis medal, and the scorecard shows us where we can improve. Our ESG and compliance team is working through those areas now, and we will share our progress at the next assessment.
